Polperro Fisher Gansey
by Pam Connolly
This beautiful working gansey was inspired by a 19th-century photograph from Cornwall, England. A traditional working garment, this fisherman’s sweater is comfortable and durable when made with the recommended guernsey yarn. Because it is made both in the round with some sections knitted flat, continental knitters should check their gauge carefully for both circular and flat knitting - it might be necessary to change needle sizes when knitting the yokes. Also available as a complete knitting kit - please visit my website for details!
