Polperro Knit Frock Socks
in 19th centuary Polperro in South East Cornwall, the hand knitted traditional Fishermans Guernseys/ Ganseys were known as Knit Frocks. Patterns were developed and passed down through generations.
these socks were inspired by 19th centuary photographs of Polperro fishermen wearing their knitfrocks, and incoropate some of the traditional patterns
