The different fibres used create slight differences in texture: Angelic’s angora gives it a lovely halo; Nirvana’s cashmere gives it a bit more halo than Eden; Brigadoon is subtly tweedy. About the yarns: Sunday Knits 3-ply is a quartet of heavy fingering/light sport weight yarns in a variety of fine fibres and a gorgeous range of colours. Sustainably spun in Italy from ethically sourced fibres, the four blends are designed to work interchangeably, so you can use whichever colour and/or fibre blend you prefer. Sunday Knits 3-ply is a very high quality yarn with a woolen-spun structure: exquisitely soft yet durable and resistant to pilling, considering the fineness of the fibres. The yarns in this collection bloom with washing, which fills in the stitches to create a soft, cohesive fabric. If substituting yarn for this project, look for a fingering weight yarn that gives you a light, drapey (but not saggy) fabric at the pattern’s gauge. You will need approximately 1548 yds/1415m of MC; 76 yds/69m each of CC 2, 3, 4, & 5; and 48 yds/44m each of CC 1 & 6.
