This is a pattern for a super cute beanie hat with over sized pom pom. This hat is suitable for everyday wear but is most often used as a photography prop.

This hat can be knitted either in the round or on straight needles. I have provided a pattern for each.

Newborn size

You will need 2 balls of Super Chunky/Super Bulky soft yarn for a two coloured hat or just 1 for a single coloured version.
