Construction
The cuffs are worked flat with an icord edge and cables. They are worked from one short side to the other short side, and joined by a seam or a 3-needle bind-off.
The main body of the gloves are worked in-the-round from picked up sts along the side of the cuff. The thumb gusset is created by even increase rounds. The top of the gloves are bound off using an icord-edge.

Sizes
There are 2 sizes to choose from: Worked at gauge (24 sts = 10 cm/4”) the circumference of the gloves is 17.5/21 cm = 7/8.25”.

Materials
Yarn: I used a DK weight wool (Arbor from Brooklyn Tweed) for the mittens. You will need approximately 150/175 m/165/200 yards for making a pair of gloves,
but this might vary from one yarn to another, and from one knitter to another. Needles: dpns or straight needles to work the cuffs, and a set of 4 dpns 3.5 mm/US4, (or a circular needle, if working the magic loop) to work the main glove and the thumb. You also need a cable-needle. Choose needle size to obtain required gauge.

Gauge
24 sts and 32 - 34 rounds in stockinette sts = 10 x 10 cm/4 x 4”.
