Pompidou Wrap
Knitted as individual triangles then joined as you go, Grace Anna Farrow’s striped wrap boasts a construction that is as clever as the style of architecture it is based on - a hybrid of high-tech and postmodern styles. The building that inspires it features its inside and outside on view at the same time, and this is echoed in the garment by using fingering-weight yarn in highly contrasting colors that render each stitch visible. The increases and decreases create sharp zigzags that serve as the wrap’s support structure.
