What you will need:

2 knitting needles (US2/2.75mm or as per tension advice)
10g grey yarn (e.g. Sirdar Snuggly DK 460 ‘Eeyore’)
40g black yarn (e.g. Patons Smoothie UK DK 1033 ‘Black’)
20g dark brown yarn (e.g. Stylecraft Special DK 1004 ‘Dark Brown’)
Oddments of brightly coloured yarn for the pompoms
44 inches (1.1m) thin plastic coated or galvanised wire and pliers
Acrylic toy stuffing
Some pebbles (optional)
Cardboard, pompom maker or a large fork
1 tapestry needle for finishing

Skills used: Casting on and off, Increasing and decreasing, Picking up

Stitches used: Stocking stitch, i-cord
