Zoe loves the song “You are my Sunshine” and I thought to myself, how cute would it be to make a sunshine pillow and use pompoms as the sun rays! Made with soft and smooth Caron Simply Soft yarn in color… wait for it.. SUNSHINE! It’s so snuggly and full of fun texture!

Materials:

• 2 skeins of Caron Simply Soft in Sunshine, a bit of Strawberry color for the cheeks, and brown for the slip-stitched eyes and mouth. Full disclosure: I came up 3 pompoms short and had to dig into a 3rd skein, but you could easily distribute your pompoms so you only use two skeins. Seems silly to buy 3 for this project.
• Size G crochet hook
• 14 inch round pillow form, or you can use poly-fil stuffing.
