I just finished this character hat for Purin (Pompompurin) from Sanrio this week. I am kind of smitten with him. I would say this pattern is advanced beginner and up but don’t get discouraged if you are a newbie to crochet. The beret and and hat are one piece worked in the round from top to bottom.
