Like a pebble dropped into a pond, these mitts have increasing bands of ruching radiating out toward a gauntlet hem. Knit from the fingers to the cuff with an afterthought/peasant thumb, they are designed to take full advantage of gradient yarn.

These top down mitts were designed to use up every bit of the Gemini Cashpaca Silk gradient yarn. However, any fingering weight yarn can be substituted. The length may be altered by working the gauntlet section after the completion of any of the ruching sections.
