This is a fitted hat with a 2-color design that vaguely reminded me of a pinecone. Knit with Brooklyn Tweed Loft, the hat comes out lightweight but beautifully woolly. Since the colorwork pattern is not involved with the crown decreases, this pattern is easily customizable for a longer hat.

2 Sizes Small (Large) fits 20” (23”) heads.
Yarn Approximately 180 yards/165 meters of fingering weight yarn
MC: 120 yards/110 meters.
CC: 60 yards/55 meters.
Samples are shown in Almanac and Iceberg (blues), Plume and Blanket Fort (purples), Long Johns and Camper (reds), and Button Jar and Sap (greens).
Yardage is listed for size small hat, however 1 skein of each color should be enough for the larger size
Needles US 2/2.27 mm or size needed to obtain gauge.
Gauge 28 sts & 10 rows over 4”/10 cm
Techniques Used Knit, purl, k2tog, knitting with 2 colors, reading charts.
