There’s something very restorative about water. Especially when it’s filled with the joyful noise of children splashing or water fowl singing. Pondside Pullover is my interpretation of a lazy afternoon spent lying on a quilt by the water, taking in all the wonderful sounds and letting go of the stresses of life. Worked top-down and in the round, enjoy the playfulness of both color and lace work in the deep yoke, with relaxing stockinette in both body and sleeves. The best part…when completed, you will have protection from the inevitable pondside insects!

Construction:
Pullover is knit from the top down and in the round, with a very deep yoke and fitted sleeves. Yoke includes colorwork and lace motifs, with increases throughout. Both are worked in twisted sts, but colorwork can be worked without twisted sts if desired. Short rows are worked at the neck and just before dividing for sleeves. Sleeve stitches are put on hold while body is worked. Sleeves are worked last.
