The pattern has instructions for both cuff down and toe up socks and is written for magic loop, but can easily be modified for double pointed needles.

Yarn

100 g of fingering weight yarn, app. 400 m/ 437 yds per 100 g. The sample socks were knitted with Hjertegarn Bamboo Wool (55% Wool, 30% Rayon from Bamboo, 15% Nylon) in colourway 2122 Light Beige.

Needles & notions

2.75 mm/ US 2 circular needle (80 cm/ 32 inches long or longer) or size to meet the gauge markers, tapestry needle for weaving in ends

36 sts x 48 rows = 10x10 cm/ 4x4 inches in stockinette stitch after blocking
