Every child loves ponies, especially the ones who dance around with sparkly multi-colored manes and tails. And, if we are honest, most of us carry that love with us as we grow up!

This pattern was inspired by my daughter’s collection of My Little Ponies that followed her from childhood into adulthood. Beautiful colors, sparkling gems, the pattern echoes hearts and diamonds. The lace pattern is simple and strong enough that it is even suited to a variegated yarn.

Child’s Scarf: Measures approximately 30” X 7” It is worked flat in Fingering Weight yarn on US size 6 needles. Model shown was worked on a 24” circular needle, but longer straight needles may be used if you don’t mind the work bunching up as you knit.

Adult Scarf: Measures approximately 60” X 8” , fingering weight yarn, US 6 needles
