This ponytail hat is similar to a winter headband but shaped using short rows. It is knit in the round (no troublesome seams!) as are the matching mittens.

The mittens are fully fashioned with a thumb gusset, and feature an opening on the palm side that can be flipped back to free the fingers to deal with phones, rail passes and other objects without having to take the mittens off.

All of my patterns have been test knit by someone other than myself before being published.
