If you are new to angle stitches, I highly recommend trying them first with this free Heart Mug Rug pattern. https://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/heart-mug-rug-2 This small 7”x 7” project is a great introduction to my angle notation system and includes my full stitch key.
There is space in the design to personalize your blanket with a name. I have several alphabet fonts available that fit this space nicely (sold separately). https://www.ravelry.com/bundles/alphabets-21

This pattern is divided into 6 sections (4 pages each) and is worked from the bottom up. I would suggest using the Knit Companion app (my personal preference as it is brilliant and saves on printer ink and paper), but I have also included layout instructions for the charts if you prefer to print out your pages. The written pattern sections correlate with the charts so they can be used together. I’ve also included the full chart on one page for those who prefer using Knit Companion without all the page breaks.
Special thanks to Sari Rantenan and Kimberly Splawn for testing this pattern.
The instructions packet and video tutorials should answer any questions you may have. I also have a Facebook group dedicated to answering questions and building community around my patterns. Please join us!
