Celebrate the Heart of your Poodle with this crochet granny square!
This square would be great to accent a throw, bag or any other granny square project. The pattern can also be paired with my “Heart Granny Square Diagonal” pattern.

Skill Level: Intermediate

Yarn
This project can be made with any weight of yarn and hooks. I used a DK weight cotton for the heart and border colours. For even fluffier poodles, they can be worked in an acrylic or wool DK yarn.
Using other weights and hook sizes will change the finished size.

Gauge
I suggest using a smaller size hook than suggested for your yarn to make a denser square.
I used a 2.50 mm hook and got a 4”x4” square.

Materials
Three yarn colours
-Heart colour (approx 10yds.)
-Poodle colour (small amount)
-Border colour( approx. 12yds)
2.50 crochet hook (or desired size)
Tapestry needle/sewing needle
Scissor
Slicker brush (optional-to make the Poodle fluffy)
Fine toothed comb
Or felting needle(optional)
Pre-made satin bows
