It’s Pooltime! Working with handpainted or tonal yarns can be challenging when they create color pooling.
Pooltime Shawl will help you to embrace the pools of color and break them up with a contrast color, and let you jump right in!

CONSTRUCTION NOTES:
- This shawl is worked sideways which creates the asymmetrical shape.
- You can substitute the sock blank yarn with handpainted, slow or long gradient, tonal, speckled, self-striping, or any other colored yarn.
- The construction of the garter rows help break up any pooling of the yarn.
- This is a beginner friendly pattern, only basic knit skills required.
The pattern has been professionally tech edited by kristinamama and test knitted by amaiku, SpinningSandy, WhyKnotLisa, Isabella-Elena. A big thank you to my test knitters for creating wonderful samples of my pattern.
