The Poop Emoji Egg Cozy is a quick easy project you can make in under an hour. It uses a small amount of yarn so it’s ideal for using up bits and pieces from your stash. Make it in traditional brown or make a colorful unicorn poop! I do recommend to use 100% cotton yarn if you want to use this to keep boiled eggs warm as other fibres may be affected by heat and moisture.

I have sized this pattern to fit a standard hen egg or (slightly looser) a Creme Egg. The pattern is easily adapted to fit a Kinder egg or other Easter egg by using a different hook size to change the gauge slightly as described in the pattern.

I have made the features of my poop by embroidering the mouth in satin stitch using some more cotton yarn, and gluing in place some 15mm googly eyes. However you could embroider all the features or cut and glue pieces of felt instead.
