Poopin' Duck and Bunny
A friend of mine had kept a vintage crocheted “pooping duck” that her Grandmother had made for all her grandkids when they were young. As a young mom herself now, her kids all loved the duck. She asked me if I would be able to recreate something like it - and this is what came about. With some online searches, it seems this was quite the crochet craze decades ago and lots of people were in search of a pattern to recreate their nostalgic memories from childhood.
So I modernized it, and now my own kids are obsessed. My 7-year-old and 10-year-old couldn’t stop giggling, and “pooping” the jelly beans into the hands of anyone willing to take one.
At the request of said 7-year-old, I came up with “a bunny friend” for the pooping duck. So both patterns are included!
Make them as an added treat in Easter baskets, or just for fun. Kids of all ages will love them! They work up within a few hours!
