This pattern consists of a multi-paged PDF file that includes detailed charts and instructions to create TWO different Pop-Art Cats motifs.

The first version explains how to create a superb tessellated look by using two different colors of yarn, and will work up extremely well as a blanket or larger piece. Think M.C, Escher :)

The second version explains how to use the same chart with four different colors to create a true Pop-Art mosaic square. So Andy Warhol!

As an added bonus, the pattern is written in such way so that you do not need to change colors within each row! Just like standard mosaic crochet, you simply alternate between two colors to get the tessellated effect ❤️

The overall pattern and chart is made up of 2 cats side-by-side and is two cats tall - 54 stitches wide by 50 rows tall. The pattern is charted using the well-known standard mosaic crochet symbols used by Tinna Thorudottir Thorvalder.

The pattern is not written out row by row, rather there are detailed charts and notes and tips on how to use them to create both amazing designs.
