ABOUT THE PATTERN
The Pop Corn Skirt is crocheted from the bottom up, in the round. Decreases will be worked to give the skirt a trapeze shape. Finish by inserting elastic into the waistband edge.
The stitch used to work the skirt combines double crochet and chain stitches to create a lacy motif.

Waist Circumference:
(58-62) 62-66 (66-70) 70-74 (74-78) 78-82 (82-86) 86-90 cm
Hips Circumference:
(84-88) 88-92 (92-96) 96-100 (100-104) 104-108 (108-112) 112- 116 cm
Measure your own waist and hips circumference to determine which size will fit you the best.
NOTE: If your measurements correspond to 2 different sizes, choose the size that corresponds to your hips measurement.
Example: your waist measurement is 67 cm and your hips measurement is 98 cm. Your waist corresponds to size M and your hips correspond to size L, so you will need to crochet the skirt in size L.

MEASUREMENTS
The Pop Corn Skirt is designed to have approx 7 cm of negative ease measured at the hips. Meaning that the skirt is 7 cm smaller in circumference than your hips measurements.

Amount per color:

Crochet Hook 6 mm US J/10
Elastic (1 cm in width)
Tapestry needle

GAUGE
Pre blocked gauge: 13.5 sts x 6 rows = 10 x 10 cm in double crochet, on crochet hook 6 mm
Post blocked gauge: 13 sts x 6 rows = 10 x 10 cm double crochet, on crochet hook 6 mm
Make a swatch to achieve the same gauge as indicated above – wash and block your swatch. Crochet size is only a guide. If you get too many stitches on 10 cm = 4”, change to a larger crochet size. If you get too few stitches on 10 cm = 4”, change to a smaller crochet size.
