ABOUT THE PATTERN
The Pop Corn sweater is a men sweater crocheted sideways to create the vertical stripe motif. Start by working the front, then the
back. Next, work the sleeves in the round. Ribbed edges are knitted along the neckline and bottom of the sweater.
A women’s version is also available, so you can twin with your sweetheart.

MEASUREMENTS
The Pop Corn Sweater is designed to have an average positive ease of 85 cm measured under armpit. Meaning the fit should be
approx. 85 cm larger in circumference than your actual bust measurements.
Before you begin, refer to the diagram on page 7 to select the correct size. If you are between two sizes, it is recommended to
choose the size down.

GAUGE
Pre blocked gauge: 9.5 sts x 5.8 rows = 10 x 10 cm in double crochet, on crochet hook 8 mm
Post blocked gauge: 9.5 sts x 5 rows = 10 x 10 cm double crochet, on crochet hook 8 mm
Make a swatch to achieve the same gauge as indicated above - wash and block your swatch. Crochet size is only a guide. If you
get too many stitches on 10 cm = 4”, change to a larger crochet size. If you get too few stitches on 10 cm = 4”, change to a smaller
crochet size.
