I used 2 skeins (140m each) of t-shirt yarn for a 21cm x 30cm laptop and a 10mm/N crochet hook. You will also require a stitch marker, scissors and a yarn needle.

For a more lightweight but still sturdy sleeve, you could use ribbon yarn. I used under 2 skeins of Katia Yarns Big Ribbon (72m each) and a 10mm/N crochet hook.
