This intermediate afghan pattern features a stunning display of popcorns and ribbing, making it reminiscent of a fisherman’s afghan and giving this design amazing texture.

Included are specific step-by-step instructions for the popcorn stitch and the ribbing (which is done just a little differently in this piece.)

The finished piece is 53x63.5” and requires approximately 3100 yards of a worsted weight acrylic. (Featured is Mainstays Basic in colorway Gold.) Notes are included in the pattern if you desire to adjust the width and/or length of your afghan. Other necessary items are a US-J10.0/6.00mm hook, tapestry needle, and scissors.

This pattern isn’t nearly as complicated as it looks. But, it will certainly give people something to talk about whether you make it to match your own decor or give it as a breathtaking gift.
