Popcorn Bloomers
Bloom bloomers.
The bloomers are knitted top down. First, the waistband is knitted, then the back side is made longer and roomier by working short-rows. Next, the main part of the bloomers is worked, followed by the Back crotch and the front crotch gussets. Leg edges and a drawstring for the waistband are worked last.
Yarn: with a yardage of approx. 165 m per 50 g 180 yds/1.75 oz.
Possible substitution: cotton, merino wool or blends with matching gauge.
Yarn required: 50 (100) 100 (100) 100 g 1.7 (3.5) 3.5 (3.5) 3.5 oz.

Tension/gauge:
Make a gauge swatch and count your stitches after wash and blocking. Do wash the swatch before measuring. Changing needles size to achieve gauge might be necessary.
Approx. 23 sts x 32 rows = 10 x 10 cm 4 x 4 in in stockinette stitch on 4 mm US6 needles, after washing.
Needle sizes are only suggestions. If your knitting has more stitches than listed (= is tighter), use thicker needles, has fewer stitches than listed (= is worked more loosely), use thinner needles than indicated.
