Gauge: 22 st x 30 rows = 10 x 10 cm
Needles: 4 mm circular needles, or another sized needle to get the right gauge.

The bonnet is knitted flat from the forehead towards the back of the head with the popcorns set against a backdrop of stockinette stitch. When the hat is long enough, the stitches are bind off using kitchener stitch. Lastly a short rib is knitted for the neckline and two i-cords for tieing the bonnet under the chin.
