Popcorn Hoodie is worked from the top to the bottom. First, the Hood is worked, then the neckline is shaped with short rows for a better fit. Next, Raglan increases. Then, the Body is worked, followed by the Button Band. The sleeves are worked last.

Sizes: 6 months, (1 year), 2 years, (4 years), 6 years, (8 years)

Yarn: cotton, merino wool or mix yarns with a yardage of approx. 120-125 m/50 g (131-136 yds/1.75 oz).
Recommended yarn: Drops cotton merino, Katia consept cotton merino, Carlton yarns merino sport, Schachenmayr merino extrafine.

Yarn required: 200 (200) 250 (300) 400 (450) g (7 (7) 8.8 (10.5) 14.1 (15.8) oz).

Needles: circular needles 3.5 mm (US4) and 4 mm (US6) with cable length 40 cm (16 in) and 60 cm (24 in) (for bigger sizes); double pointed needles 3.5 mm (US4) and 4 mm (US6).

Notions: crochet hook 3 mm (US2.5), 5 (5) 6 (6) 7 (7) buttons with diameter approx. 1 cm (0.4 in), tapestry needle, stitch markers, scissors, contrasting color waste yarn.

Gauge: make a gauge swatch and count your stitches after washing and blocking! It might be necessary to change needle size to achieve a matching gauge. If you knit tighter (have more stitches), use thicker needles, if you knit more loosely (have fewer stitches), use thinner needles.
