This play set is so much fun! It includes instructions for making the popcorn box (with or without without a crocheted lining), along with a few different versions of the tiny popcorn kernels to fill it. And we can’t forget the cute little popcorn amigurumi characters too! They’re so sweet!

Materials
• Worsted Weight Yarn
• 3.25mm and 4mm hooks
• 6mm safety eyes or black yarn or embroidery floss for French knots
• Embroidery Floss: Black, red, white
• Fiberfill
• 1 Plastic Canvas sheet
• Other: Yarn needle, sewing needle, scissors, straight pins, safety pin, skewers to help with stuffing

Size
Gauge is not important to this pattern. The size of your finished products will vary depending on the size yarn and hooks you use. Made with the materials listed, the box is about 6” tall x 4” square across the top. The popcorn characters are 1 ½” tall and the little kernels are just about 1” long.
• Using thinner yarn and smaller hooks will yield smaller items. Using thicker yarn and larger hooks will result in larger items. An individual crocheter’s yarn tension can also be a factor in sizing as well.

Pattern Notes
The pattern is written for advanced beginner crocheters and beyond (mainly because of the type of terminology used). The advanced beginner is familiar with making amigurumi and understands basic amigurumi crochet terminology and stitches as well as how to sew pieces together, finish off, hide ends, etc. If you are not familiar with all the terms used in this pattern, there are a multitude of tutorials on You Tube that can help.
