This pattern is made with worsted weight yarn. I used Red Heart Super Saver. I used a full skein of green (made different attributes to change the look). White, amount depends on how many layers you make and if you choose to add it. I used about a third of a skein. Yellow, about 5 yards.

Gauge is not really important to this pattern. It is a very forgiving pattern as well as the layers are stacked and any mistakes will not be very visible.

Additional materials include a yarn needle, scissors, 7/8 inch dowel, tools for drilling and cutting, a popcorn tin, rocks or material to use as a weight for the tin, can of foam insulation. Additional materials for decorating, such as glue gun, additional yarns, small pom poms, etc.
