This is a pattern of Pineapples made a little differently. I have made this with an alternate ending. Original ending finished size approx. 24”. With the alternate ending size was approx. 28”. Both took less than one ball of Aunt Lydia’s #10 thread using a 1.5 mm hook.

I actually had a poll in my main thread Crochet group that helped me pick the name. I had five names to choose from. Most votes is what I named it. That was a lot of fun.
