Poppy was created by request from several Ravelry members. It was designed for loom knitters to make and wear in honor of the members of the armed forces who have served and/or died in the line of duty. These can be worn in conjunction with Remembrance Day, Veterans Day or Memorial Day.

The finished poppy made with worsted weight yarn on the 3/8” gauge KB Sock Loom 2 is approximately 2.5 inches (6.5 cm) in diameter using the materials, loom and instructions as written. The size can be increased by using a larger gauge loom and bulker yarn, or decreased by using a finer gauge loom and a lighter weight yarn.
