This is a very simple pattern.
Worked in just 2 rounds with optional leaf.

I’ve used a magic ring to start but you can do a a loose chain of 2 and work into the 2nd chain from hook.

The Pattern suggests a button in the centre, but another option is to use black yarn and a magic ring. 6dc into ring, pull the ring tight and slip stitch to form a mini circle.

You can use any weight or type of yarn. using the correct corresponding hook.
