Poppy DK shawl
Poppy shawl is knit back and forth. You start in the center (neck) on the shawl and increases in each side along the entire shawl. The shawl is finished with I-cord bind off.
Knitting tension is not essential for the shawl, but if you want the shawl to be the same size as listed, make sure that you have the correct gauge.
Size:
Length: 190 cm (75”).
Depth: 0 - 50 cm (0 – 19 ½”).
Materials:
100 gr. = 214 meters, DK weight
MC = 120 grams/257meters/281 yards.
CC1 = 16 grams/35 meters/38 yards.
CC2 =160 grams/343 meters/375 yards.
Gauge:
20 sts x 32 row = 10 x 10 cm (4”).
Gauge after blocking:
Moss sts: 17 sts x 24 row = 10 x 10 cm (4”).
Tools:
Circular needle 4 mm/(US 6), 80 cm (32”).
Cable needle 4 mm/(US 6),
2 (+ 10) stitch markers.

Easy - intermediate
Techniques:
Knit, purl, k-tbl, k2tog, p-tbl, p2tog, kbf, ssk, M1R, yo, cable with k and p, 2-3 stitches.
