The Poppy Romper is a fun knitting design using the much-loved popcorn stitch. Constructed in two pieces, the front and back, the garment is knit flat, casting on at the bottom edge. The Romper is designed to be generous around the hips, gathering at the waist for a snugger fitting bodice. There is a button opening between the legs and at each shoulder for ease of getting the romper on and off.

• Construction: Worked flat, bottom-up
• Techniques used: Stocking stitch, garter stitch, making a bobble, decreasing and increasing stitches, eyelet buttonholes, picking up & working stitches. Full explanations are given in the pattern.

The pattern is written out row by row making it easy for a beginner to try the fun popcorn stitch. A simple chart for bobble placement is also included for reference.
