Poppy Shawl
A crescent shaped shawl which starts with a wide, beaded lace border which reminds me of poppies in full bloom. The crescent shape is achieved by working a combination of decreases and short rows in garter stitch.
Materials:
Fyberspates Scrumptious Lace, 55% Merino/45% Silk, 1000m/100gr, shade: Cherry
3.75mm circular needles
size 6/0 (4mm) seed beads
0.75mm crochet hook
Size:
Inner crescent: 80cm
Outer crescent: 215cm
Depth: 59cm
Tension:
Two pattern repeats of the lace pattern to measure 14 cm wide and 17 cm tall after blocking. Exact tension is not essential.
