Poppy Throw
This pattern has been designed as a small lap blanket/wheelchair blanket.
Perfect for veterans/remembrance as well as being just pretty to snuggle under on a cold day.
Can be used as a stash buster or you can use colours as described in pattern.
The basic squares are made up of basic UK Treble/US Double stitches.
The backing squares consist of a double centre, made using basic stitches, to which you attach the backing circle.
The poppies sit proud in each of their individual squares and are crocheted onto backing square to reduce sewing.
Made using Chunky wool so very quick to make. Took me just 3 evenings.
Measurements:
Approximately 120cm/48” square when complete.
