About:
My dad, called Pop by my children, requested a warm winter hat for Christmas. I designed this simple knit and purl textured hat using bulky weight wool yarn from the craft store for him. It is knit from the brim to the crown.
My husband is graciously modeling Pop’s hat for me. :smile:

Materials:

Yarn: Buttercream Luxe Craft Roving from JoAnn Fabric store, 115 yd (105m)/100g, color Charcoal
Gauge: ~ 14sts and 22 rows/4in (10cm)
Needles: US 5/3.75mm and 7/4.5mm dpns or circular needs, 16in/40cm or 32+in/80+cm for magic loop
Notions: tapestry needle and stitch marker
