Go ahead… play with your food!

My 13-year-old daughter came up with this design idea: an amigurumi toy that comes apart like those trendy, collectible, Japanese puzzle erasers. I fell in love with her idea and modified her design to include plastic cross-stitch canvas in the stick to make it rigid. Looks like a chocolate-coated Dove bar… yum!

This ice cream bar is quick and easy to make, and best of all: no sewing pieces together--just pure crochet bliss. Plus, it makes a fun gift: kids love pulling the pieces apart and putting them back together.
