Porcelain Shawl

Would you like to add a new set of skills to your arsenal? Are you curious about brioche knitting, which produces a lofty and soft fabric with lots of texture? Two color-brioche knitting gets a lot of love and I just couldn’t wait to knit this motif again.
If you’re looking for a really exciting knit, sprinkled with a little challenge, then Porcelain Shawl is your next project. Porcelain Shawl uses the same motif as my Porcelain Hat because it really needed a large and cosy companion.
The result is like two different shawls because the fabric is completely reversible.
The Porcelain Shawl a classic top-down shawl, which is worked in one piece and consists of 2 identical triangle sections, with increases in the center as well as along the side edges. For brioche newbies, the Porcelain Shawl could be your first brioche shawl, as the pattern is filled with detailed explanations and lots of video links that show all the stitches and helpful hints (you can practice all the different increases and decreases). It’s also pleasant to knit since there is no need to count the stitches on every row. Add beautiful tassels if you wish (completely optional).
Gauge is not so crucial for this design, but if yours differs from the pattern gauge, the dimensions of your shawl will be different as well. The pictured shawl was made with fingering weight yarn, but it can easily be worked in lace, sport or even DK weight yarn.
The pattern is fully written and also includes charted instructions , video tutorials and photos and has been thoroughly tested and tech edited.
