Porcupine Doll
When finished, this adorably prickly little porcupine (inspired by the “Harold and the Purple Crayon” series) will be 3.5” tall, 2.5” wide, and 4.5” long.

Skill Level: Intermediate
Required Skills:
• Adding extra crochet stitches onto doll by slipping hook through the doll and making a slipknot with yarn
• Create a magic circle (or magic ring)
• Crocheting in a round
• Crocheting in back loops
• Decrease stitches (invisible decreasing is used for this project)
• Embroidering
• Increase stitches
• Sewing pieces together to form the doll
• Single crochet
Materials Needed for this Project:
• Size G/7 or 4.25mm Crochet Hook
• Yarn Needle
• Stitch Marker
• Scissors
• Polyester Fiberfill
• Worsted Weight Yarn (I used Red Heart Super Saver Solids—1 skein for each color)
o Gold for head/body and legs
o Claret for eyes, nose, mouth, and quills
