Porlock Hill Hat
Any Yarn patterns offer you the chance to knit that item in any yarn, commercial or handspun. This means you can use yarn from your stash for pattern you like and you do not have to hit the tension given on the pattern.
Directions given for Baby to Large Man, using any weight yarn.
Construction
The brim is knitted first, slanting the rows by increasing at the beginning of alternate rows and decreasing at the other end. The yarn overs also form the decorated edge. Then the crown stitches are picked up along the edge without the yarn overs edge. Stitches are then decreased to the centre and the seam is then sewn.
