Inspired after a summer trip to the Inner Hebrides, looking for sea life and watching the waves do their thing on the Sound of Eigg.

Knitted in the round from the cuff up towards the fingers using a 4ply weight yarn. The lace design waves up and across the hand with a vertical panel of rib to give a snug but stretchy fit with a good bit of ease.

The thumb is worked across the vertical rib using the afterthought method which gives a neat finish and interesting stitch detail.

Top of the gloves are finished off with a picot cast off adding an extra bit of interest to the design.
