This pattern will help you to crochet a small Port-Pillow Seatbelt Cover that fastens around your seatbelt to keep it off of your port-a-cath. A port-a-cath is a device used to draw blood and give treatments, including intravenous fluids, blood transfusions, chemotherapy, and other drugs. It is also used for taking blood samples. A port-a-cath may stay in place for a long time and helps reduce the need for repeated needle sticks. These port-a-caths offer many benefits, however one of the down-sides is that it can get caught on everyday items such as seatbelts and other straps that go across the chest.
