1 spool nylon twine (250’)
size 5 (3.75 mm) double pointed knitting needles
stitch holder (a paper clip will do)
tapestry needle for weaving in ends.

Gauge: 5 stitches = 1 inch

This pattern will make a pocket to fit an iPhone 4S that is 5 ¾ to 6 inches around. To adjust for a different device, measure around it and multiply the inches by the gauge. In this case, 6 inches around multiplied by 5 stitches per inch equals 30 stitches around.

You can include a monogram if you’re a bit more experienced. Just look online for a charted letter or design that is no bigger than one side of the pocket.
