I was asked for the pattern that I used to make the Portal themed scarf, but I had lost the files I used as well as the scarf, but I was able to recreate it. Here are the patterns I used for the double knit scarf. Be warned, it is VERY thick, so I recommend using Caron Simply Soft instead of Red Heart yarn because the Simply Soft yarn is more flexible and less stiff, so it lies better on the neck. Enjoy!

You will want to go with the needle that gives you the most square shape when you knit a square (usually between sizes 9-10.5). I used 10.5 needles. You will need to check your gauge for this.
