Portcullis
Portcullis is a traditional motif used in Welsh blankets which I have translated into knit for this cowl/snood.
This is an intermediate colourwork pattern – only 2 colours and a simple geometric design that’s easy to follow and count.
You will need:
· I used 4 x 25g balls of Rowan Alpaca Classic – 3 balls of the blue-grey and one of the yellow. If using any other DK yarn, I would suggest that you would need 4 x 50g of the main background colour and 2 x 50g balls of the pattern colour.
· 3.75mm circular knitting needle
