Porteau Cove
Porteau Cove is a really, really big scarf and that’s the whole point! The airy fabric created by the diamond lace pattern makes it the perfect thing to wrap around and around to get that perfect big, bulky, textured look while never getting too hot. You can wrap it over your shoulders, bundle it around your neck or pull it over your head for the perfect lacy hood.
All instructions are written and with the repeating lace pattern it is easy to do as many repeats as you want to get the perfect length of scarf for you. I love all consuming woolly scarves that make people question the existence of my neck so my version is just under 9 feet long. Knit what works for you!
I’d love to thank Sylvia Bo Bilvia from the Graph Paper Cooperative for photos, layout and pushing me to publish this pattern for the last 2 years!
