Portside Sweater
The Portside sweater is a seamless top-down design featuring garter and I-cord details on the upper back and sleeves. It is a very oversized design with a relaxed, cozy fit.
Sizes:
This sweater is designed to be worn with approximately 26cm/10.5in of positive ease at the bust and 5-10cm/2-4in of positive ease at the upper arm (some sizes have slightly more ease than others to fit the design). You may wish to choose a different size than recommended if you prefer a different amount of ease. If you pick a different size, be mindful that you may need to adjust the armhole depth.
The sizes are designed to fit 1 (2, 3, 4, 5) 6, 7, 8, 9, 10 = 71-76 (81-86, 91.5-96.5, 101.5-106.5, 111.5-117) 122-127, 132-137, 142-147, 152-158, 163-168cm /28-30 (32-34, 36-38, 40-42, 44-46) 48-50, 52-54, 56-58, 60-62, 64-66in and will appear throughout the pattern in this manner.

Gauge:
15 stitches and 20 rows form a 10x10cm/4x4in square in stocking stitch on 5.5mm needles.
15 stitches and 30 rows form a 10x10cm/4x4in square in Garter stitch on 5.5mm needles.
Please wash and block your swatch for accurate gauge reading, you may need to change your needle size to get the correct tension.

Both yarns are held together throughout the pattern.
5.5mm/US9 circular needles (100cm/40in cord) for body, cuffs and hem
4.5mm/US7 needles (40cm/16in cord) for collar
Darning needle, 3 stitch markers, 1 locking stitch marker, scissors, elastic thread for neck (optional)
Techniques required:
Knitting stocking stitch flat and in the round, knitting garter stitch flat, picking up stitches out of I-cord, increasing and decreasing, slipping stitches
