The crochet shrug is crocheted as flat panels (sleeves and body panels) and seamed together.

Yarns and tools

• Tools: Crochet hook 4.5 mm, a stitch marker and a threading needle.
• Yarn: Novita Aamu in ‘Mandarin’ (278) color. For the sizes XS-XL 2 balls (2x100 g) of Novita Aamu yarn. For the sizes 2XL-5XL 3 balls (3x100 g) of Novita Aamu yarn. (For the size 2XL, 2 balls of yarn might be just enough but not necessarily).
• Yardage: For the sizes XS-XL 380 m / 416 yards (Novita Aamu yarn) and for the sizes 2XL-5XL 570 m / 624 yards (Novita Aamu yarn).
• Alternatively any worsted/aran weight yarn will do.

Size
The shrug pattern comes in sizes XS, S-M, L, XL, 2XL, 3XL, 4XL and 5XL. Instructions for the size XS are found in the free pattern. Instructions for all the other sizes (and XS) are available in the paid pattern.

Gauge
There are a bit over 1 repeat of mesh and 3 rows in 5 cm (2”). (Mesh repeat = 2-dc-shell + 6 ch).
